Moving Forest XII app for iPhone and iPad

Moving Forest is an art performance that will take place in july 2012 in london.
Attention: Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

The APP can be installed by participants who are willing to contribute their position-data as base for the final performance (12 hours, 4th of july 2012).
This data then will be aggregated to orchestrate audio-visual performances at various locations.

The APP is extremely minimalistic. After launching the only screen you will see shows a map with your current position (if you allow to access position data).
Then you will see a single button labeled "Start Marching". Pressing the button will start sending your (anonymous) location-data to the performance-server.
Everyone can install this APP and contribute to this art event. However - the main-purpose is that participants of the events and performances install it on their devices.

All data submitted to the performance-server will only be used for statistical data. Position-data is anonymized and will only be stored until the end of the performance (5th of july).

Please be aware that displaying the realtime-map could cause some network-traffic (2-4 MB / Hour).
